Origins.
Discovering something remarkable for the first time—the moment your eyes widen and you're overcome with emotion or a sense of calm. In that instant, your mind is still, fully immersed in what you're experiencing, becoming one with the world around you.
There is nothing quite like this feeling. It’s a sensation of pure joy, a fleeting moment that can subtly but profoundly change your outlook on life. It’s the simplest of experiences, yet it has the power to shift how you see the world, affecting even your daily perspective.
This is the essence of childlike awe—a gift not only for children but also for parents, who, through their children's eyes, rediscover the world anew, from a different, more innocent perspective. Travelers, too, experience this wonder when they step outside their familiar environments, immersing themselves in new landscapes and cultures.
This sense of awe is what I explore in my work, not consciously, but as a natural expression. It’s only in reflecting on my creations that I realize the magic that has unfolded—an unconscious response to the beauty of simply noticing.
By slowing down and truly taking in my surroundings, I've transformed the way I live and appreciate each moment. Nature, with its vibrant colors and organic shapes, speaks to me, and I translate it into abstract forms. My art reflects the natural curves I’m drawn to, while bold, playful color combinations convey the joy this transformation has brought me.
The pieces in this exhibition represent a return to the child and artist that I’ve always carried within me—a reconnection to my origins.
